I am a creative, artist and designer maker, working in many different medias. I paint mainly in acryllics but also use other paint mediums. I work with but not limited to photography, textiles, ceramics, wood, wax and paper.
My work is about capturing moments in light, time and life. Some influences and inspiration include all things Japanese, sea life, my vivid dreams, meaningful memories and lighting. I often see images I want to paint while out and about in life, so take photos for reference to paint from later. My paintings are usually square with a few exceptions and vary in size from a few centimetres to a metre. In between paintings, I design and make pieces, anything from sewing, origami, wood carving and sculpting with clay and more recently wax with a view to bronze casting.
