  Back to profiles

I am a multidisciplinary artivist whose ideas circulate around protest, apocalyptic possibilities, climate change and utopia. I often take an anarchic view to traditional spaces for art and prefer using public interventions and community collaborations to spark energy for change.

I have a degree in Fine Art and Art History from Manchester School of Art and The University of Barcelona. I am currently based in London and I have always lived in cities; the grit and absurdity of which are often captured in my works. My practice sits on a line between humour and horror, humour being a useful tool with which to approach hyperobjects such as the climate crisis and capitalism. I use recycled materials and objects I collect from the streets to make work as an act of non-monetary exchange, community cleaning and through which I enjoy subverting the elitism which surrounds the art world.

Recent features: 'Future Visions' Hounslow Council, The FLUX Review V2 Exhibition, 'Spring Exhibition' online with VANE Gallery, SHIM Art Network and TSDAP, 'Inner-City: Out of Place' virtual exhibition with Stay Connected VE, 'Letters to Lockdown' feature for Fourth Floor, 'The Postcard Project' published feature with Artists Responding To, 'The Environment Issue' feature for HAUS-A-REST, 'Why?' Online exhibition for Cultivate Gallery and Organ Thing, 'Little Voices' exhibition at The Old Telephone Exchange with Kensington and Chelsea Art Week, 'Grassroots' zine feature for The MASS, 'Issue 2' zine feature for Artists Responding To, 'Walled' exhibition at Hulme Community Garden Centre.

Black Lives Matter Protest

07/06/2020

I set up this event with the help of BLM West London and Extinction Rebellion Richmond to provide an opportunity to protest for those who did not want to risk going into Parliament Square to join the bigger marches in town. I timed the silence, publicised the event and provided large banners to line this busy street. I believe this protest...

Street Exhibition

16/05/2020

As an alternative to the final show of my degree I decided to put on an exhibition along the brick walls and back fences of my small street, inviting local kids and artists to join me. The day brought a sense of community to streets around us and has inspired me to keep making more unconventional spaces for art. You can view the exhibition at:...
