I am a photographer and a qualified teacher. I tutor workshops in basic digital photography and cyanotype printing. My main practice is in documentary photography. I also have a passion for Camera Obscura and have designed and built my own portable CO. Inspired by largescale artworks I also have a passion for light paintings and abstractions made at night.

I have had commissions in documentary photography and have images on permanent display at AYCLIFFE FABRICATIONS and KILLHOPE LEAD MINING MUSEUM. I have also had commissions in event photography and consider both to be important to my work and funding. I have self-funded work for several solo exhibitions from 2010 including recently: Sept - October 2021 when I had a very successful two part show, ‘How do you like your photography?’ (With or without a camera), at Greenfield Arts, Newton Aycliffe. The two parts were BLACK and LIGHT (digital abstracts) and BLUE and WHITE (Cyanotype prints). March - May 2022, following on I had another very successful extended show of BLUE and WHITE, my creative response to the Coronavirus, a body of work using only the Cyanotype process. This exhibition was at TAP No42 Gallery, Bishop AUCKLAND. As my CAMERA OBSCURA is now built I plan to seek commissions for workshops and/or events.
