    I am a Fine Artist. I work mainly in painting and printmaking. My work explores colour and currently I am interested in colour charts. I studied a degree in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art and an MA in Printmaking at Bradford School of Art. I have worked in education for many years, both as a teacher and lecturer in Art and Design. I am currently an associate lecturer at Craven College.

    Based in West Yorkshire I am a visual artist and creative practitioner working with stitched paper, textiles, and mixed media to explore themes of place and belonging. My work aims to bridge contemporary fine art with textile-based processes, layering paper and thread to create textural, abstract compositions that reflect the fragility and resilience of landscapes.

    Adele studied for her B. A. (Hons) Degree in Textile Art at Winchester School of Art. After a short spell working for an interior magazine in London she set out to see the world. Years later, settling down in the historic city of York, she completed a diploma in Children's book illustration gaining a distinction. It was after this that she turned to using her camera, scanner and photoshop.

    I have been painting for approximately 12 years but have only recently taken steps towards building my artwork in to more than just a hobby. This increased focus has seen an evolution in my work, moving towards stronger, bolder and more colourful creations, which I feel reflects the newfound confidence I have in myself as an artist.
