I am a collage artist producing vividly coloured analogue and digital creations. My work is partly abstract and partly representational, often featuring foxes, cats and birds. Originally from New Zealand, I now live near York, where my work is available in Fabrication, an artists' and makers' shop on Stonegate.

I create mixed media collages on boards and canvases, as well as digital artwork on the Inkscape platform. I love vivid colour and lots of texture. I describe myself as an intuitive artist because I never have a set plan when I begin an artwork. I use art to discover what I feel and to communicate it. My work has both representational and abstract elements. It has many layers to reflect the complexity of the human experience. I don't aim to depict the real world when I collage - the goal is always to create a place of refuge.
