    I am an artist based in West Yorkshire and Iam an emerging artist. I have always had a passion for wildlife and wildlife conservation. So, it makes sense that I would naturally turn to wildlife art. My style is hyper-realistic with an attention to detail.     My paintings develop from sketches and photographs taken on location, blending imagination and inspiration from architecture, archaeology, and man-made structures. From my studio space at Arnup Studios in York, I create, teach and exhibit my art, sharing my collections, prints and cards. I exhibit both solo and collaboratively across the UK and locally, in galleries, art fairs and art cafes.

    My motivation often comes from the challenge of transforming and exploiting objects then trying to give them new uses. I enjoy keeping the original object recognisable so then it has a dual personality. Many of my projects and products have been interactive, in a residency last year I was able to create larger pieces using rope and objects that people could interactive and play with.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

    I'm an Artist & Qualified Art Teacher based in Leeds with a master's in Contemporary Fine Arts Practices. My work is inspired by African Art, Rastafarian Culture, and Roots Reggae. I've received the Edna Lumb Travel Scholarship and the Black Achievers Award. My recent public artwork "Church Windows of no Return" is displayed at Leeds Kirkgate Market and textiles at British The British Library.
