    A relative newcomer to the world of art. Winner of the King Lear Prize for Art (Beginners) 2023. Working mostly in acrylics but also in pencil. I have an eclectic range of artwork from pop art to seascapes, cloud studies and flowers to pencil drawings. Currently I am experimenting with pallet knife painting and achieving some interesting results.

    I am a painter that is interested in emotional memory and the part played through dance and music . I also work with abstract themes usually in mixed media . I exhibit and sell my work predominantly at soul festivals throughout the UK. I worked initially as a fashion designer for high street brands then in my early 30 s worked in education as a Head of Faculty for Visual and Performing Arts .

    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years.     I work in the medium of film/video and photography. I studied photography before going on to study fine art at Leeds where I specialised in video art.
