    Graduating in 1987 from Maidstone College of Art, with a Fine Arts BA (hons) degree I entered the world of teaching after gaining a PGCE at Bretton hall.     I am a mixed media artist based in Bedfordshire. My recent work has focused on abstract, geometric and surreal patterns and shapes, expressing underlying themes of mental health and disability. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design in 2010, after previously studying fashion and textiles and fine art.
