    I am by definition an abstract artist who mainly specialises in painting. I use acrylic paint and mixed media to create my artworks, typically on large abandoned photographs, paper or canvas. The general theme behind my work is rooted in environmental issues and explores the contrasts between a natural existence and a synthetic environment that many of us find ourselves living in.

    A recent MA Graduate interested in colour and the way light, movement and scale change perception of colour. Inspired by the principles of Reuse/Recycle, Permaculture Gardening, I'm a 'magpie', exploring 'something from nothing', time passing during a process. Each body of work I produce is varied but I'm looking at the same factors; how colour and light affects (inside/outside) materials.

    I am a visual artist, animator and arts educator based in Liverpool. I use textiles, natural and recycled man-made materials in my practice. Current projects have taken on a new line of enquiry- perception- what society’s viewpoint of the LGBTQIA+ community is. I challenge the notions and stigma of what it is to be an acceptable ‘gay’- to survive day-to-day; we perform and mould ourselves.

    Having completed a degree in Fine Art I went on to complete an MA Fine Art at BCU . I revel in exploring, unpicking, and going on a journey to see where the art takes me. When I paint and draw, I really do feel the work emanates from within and emerges, bursting forth. I embrace my gestural approach, and investigate large scale using oil, oil sticks, and water soluble crayons.

    I am a UK-based artist working in the South West. I make both large and small works, predominantly oil paintings on linen, but I also create small three dimensional pieces that consider the impact of scale and perception. Some of these become part of older objects, others are created new.
