Romanian by birth, British by choice, I have worked as an artist since I finished my Masters Degree at Bradford University in 1999. Having worked and traveled to a few different countries, I would consider myself to be an artist with a broad interest in the people I meet and places I see.

My artwork does talk about the identity of people and places, reaching out to the human element, emotions, experiences and surprises. The identity of the space we are inhabiting and the connections we all make with each other make us unique as a species for better and for worse. I am interested in the small details, in the basic objects that make the links and connections between families, relationships and communities. My fine art practice does take the shape and medium that is appropriate to the project from drawing, painting, printmaking and book binding.
