Julie Dawson/Gledhill is a retired teacher of Art and Design Technology. She was born and still resides in Wakefield West Yorkshire. Julie is a keen photographer and uses her camera to inspire her art. One of Julie’s favourite places to visit is the Yorkshire coast and this is reflected in her work. Julie has sold her artwork around the world. Holding a BA Hons degree in fine art.
I paint, I make, I take photographs. I sew, I cook. My life revolves around art and life. My artist life was slowed by the production of family; 2 great children and now, 5 beautiful grandchildren. I love painting and making. My inspiration comes from nature, urban life and funfairs!
