    Kate Brown is a North Yorkshire-based visual artist. Grounded in rhizomatic thinking, her practice considers how memory, material, and place are carried through process. Rooted in transience and grief, her work embraces change as a generative condition. She has exhibited in the UK, Japan, and Germany and is currently undertaking an MFA.

    I am an artist based in Cumbria, originally from South Yorkshire. My main focus within my art practice is to create sculptural artworks by recreating and repurposing items and materials that I collect, source and find. I also explore the use of other materials (such as wire, etc), other art practices (such as ink drawings, etc) and the making of decorative goods.

    Susan Thompson (BA Hons Fine Art, Oxford Brookes University, 2014) is an abstract painter whose work is deeply informed by the natural world. Drawing inspiration from nature’s rich palette, varied forms, and inherent sense of order, her practice reflects an interest in how elements exist without self-consciousness.

We met whilst studying for M.A. Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University and discovered that we hold shared ideas and concerns.     Working with salvaged ecclesiastical glass, I use historical fragments to construct new paradigms of image‑making. Informed by early Renaissance craft, my practice reconfigures light, fracture and inherited forms for contemporary meaning.

    I'm a 53 year old Artist from Yorkshire, i Love to paint what is in my head. I do occasionally like to paint a portrait, usually a personality from a band. Having suffered with my mental health issues i find it a personally tailored therapy that seems to work well. I would like very much to share my paintings.
