    Based in the UK East Midlands, I became a full time artist in 2019. Semi abstract in nature, my work combines a fine art background and a long held fascination with wood in all forms. Sustainability underpins my practice; resource management and contributing to art communities is very important to me. I consistently exhibit in UK galleries and have collectors across the UK, Europe and US.

    I work in the medium of film/video and photography. I studied photography before going on to study fine art at Leeds where I specialised in video art. As a filmmaker I've made creative films for Screen Yorkshire and North West Vision in England. My photographs have been exhibited online and in galleries, both in the UK and internationally.

    Judith Walker has practiced art in London for over 40 years. Walker has always placed a strong emphasis on the use of colour, while enjoying the tactile qualities of art materials to produce abstracted forms.     I live on a small sheep farm in Suffolk making and drawing. Having left school at 15 yrs old because I hated sitting at a desk and being confined; I spent my teens and twenties working and always moving looking for something that drove me but kept me still. Finally in my thirties I sat down long enough to learn to draw. I now draw in 2D and 3D on any object I can find to use as my ‘canvas’.

    As a Peruvian artist have research and depicted pre-Columbian art and how is reflected in a contemporary context, together with the awareness of climate change and its influence on its habitants from ancient times till now, were human intervention contributes to it.

    I am a mixed media artist often working large scale and with a range of materials and techniques and currently exploring ideas around the Art of Disconnection. I am embarking on a residency at Fremantle Arts centre, Western Australia from January - March 2020 to develop these ideas and creative new work in a different cultural space.

    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects. Each piece is accompanied with a poem about and as a response to the physical work. I also work as a development librarian.
