    I am a glass and mixed media artist based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. My work draws inspiration from individual and collective stories and memories.     Inspired by her home county of Yorkshire, Katrina works in a wild and free manner such as the laws of nature demand. The motive behind these stimulating paintings is the exploration of beauty in our surroundings. Taking patterns and colours from flowers, water, earth and sky and using them as stand alone designs or to decorate a variety of creatures, transforming them into hypnotic beings.

    Every artwork is an invitation to pause. I don’t create paintings simply to be looked at. I create spaces to be entered. Mixed media, conceptual artist exploring emotional memory through textured abstraction, found objects and sculptural surfaces. Through painting, photography, travel or writing, create layered works that invite viewers to slow down, look deeper and discover what often unseen.

    Shona Davies and Jon Klein both studied at Sir John Cass College of Art where they graduated in 2007 with first class honours. They were also joint recipients of the Owen Rowley Prize and John Cass Purchase prize. Klein specialised in Time Based Media and Davies in Printmaking and 3-D. Dave Monaghan studied at Liverpool and Canterbury Colleges of Art where he specialised in sculpture.

    I am a sculptor whose work investigates identity and the way we portray this in the world through the forms of our clothing and our architecture. Both are seen as metaphors for the body and for human experience. I have been investigating this relationship for 20 years. I work mainly for exhibition or in residency and have a studio in my local town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands.
