Kirstie is a Leeds based designer, printmaker and creative workshop tutor. She works as a Lecturer in Art and Design at Shipley College, a Print Studio Co-ordinator at The Art House, Wakefield and is also a founder member of Leeds Print Workshop where she teaches printmaking courses and is involved in the day to day running of the workshop.

Kirstie trained in Textile Design, completing an MA at Chelsea College of Art in 2010. Since studying she has developed a practice in screen printing (textiles and paper based) and also uses other printmaking techniques such as collograph, monoprinting and linocut. Kirstie creates bold, textured, geometric screen prints which are influenced by 1950s surface pattern and simplified patterns in nature. She is particularly interested in colour and the way colours interact with each other on a print. She regularly exhibits and sells prints, cards and textiles at fairs and local events.
