Laura Porter Devon, United Kingdom
  Back to profiles

I'm an artist predominantly living in Devon, working with large-scale, site-specific, mixed media sculpture and installation.

My practice takes clothing, as a ready-made or found object, and combines domestic, hand-made craft techniques with repetitive, industrious processes and materials to explore themes of the one-off versus the mass-produced as a comment more broadly on the individual versus the group, and interpersonal responsibility.
