I am a visual artist working in sculpture installation and print. With a BA in 3D Design in Glass from UCA Farnham, I graduated with an MA in Art and Science from Central Saint Martins London 2018. Investigating themes related to natural forces and perception, I won the National Open Art Prize Installation Category in 2017 and was selected for the British Glass Biennale 2022.

My practice questions how the world is put together in terms of energy, forces, form as filtered through human perception. Learning through materials, I create sculpture (glass, paper, plastic, metal) and use photography and printmaking to investigate areas where man and nature intersect. Often this process incorporates periods of research into scientific concepts or site-specific work.

The force of gravity is a recent focus – how we understand it through physics and its effect on our sensory system as studied by neuroscience. Inevitably, gravity also influences our perception of time and reality. I am attracted to elastic and semi-transparent materials that record bending, stretching and tension. Teaching glass-making courses from my studio in Surrey, I exhibit regularly and work to commission. I was artist in residence at Mullard Space Science Laboratory in 2019 and my sculpture 'Verdant' was sent to the International Space Station for the Moon Gallery project in February 2022.
