Oil and air dry clay on canvas.

My practice explores the relationship between movement, emotion, and texture through the dual mediums of oil paint and clay. Each piece is an intuitive dialogue between control and spontaneity — a balance that mirrors my personal experience of living with dyspraxia, where creativity becomes both expression and grounding.

Working across painting and sculptural forms, I focus on tactile surfaces, flowing compositions, and natural tones that evoke the organic rhythms of water, earth, and light. My process often begins with instinctive mark-making and builds through layers of paint and texture, allowing forms to emerge and dissolve like shifting currents.

The recurring use of gold in my work reflects themes of resilience, renewal, and beauty found in imperfection — a visual metaphor for strength within fragility. My paintings and clay works aim to capture emotion as movement: a translation of inner experience into physical, visible form.

Through my collections such as Currents of Gold, I invite the viewer to slow down, trace the textures, and connect emotionally with the surface and story of each piece. My goal is to create art that feels alive — grounded in materiality yet open to reflection and calm.
