Ex Army Father of two beautiful girls and I work as a HGV driver in the UK. I got into art literally by accident, after a work place accident and recovering at home ,I took up pyrography to take my mind off the recovery. Since then and work permitting I do my art when I can. Only having weekends off from the road I love to dive into a piece for hours on end, the smell and sound is fantastic.

Pyrography artist, I work on 3mm Birch plywood and I only create portraits. I use heat as my paint and the plywood is my canvas. It's a long slow process but worth every single minute as I work. One wrong burn and the whole piece is ruined. I wanted to do portraits because I love the soul in people's eyes and the textures of the skin on the face. To me face's are a landscape and each one is different. Be it a bearded man or the smooth skin of a child, each face tells it's own story
