I am a self-taught artist and printmaker, based in rural Somerset between the coast and the levels, which provides the inspiration for much of my work.

Pamela is an artist and printmaker living in rural Somerset, between the coast and the Levels. The landscape of the natural world around her shapes much of her work.

Pamela is an amateur artist, mostly self taught since gaining her O level in art in the 1980’s.

She attended a linoprint workshop as a teenager, and her love for the medium was rekindled when encouraging her own daughters in their creative journey. She now also works in other print mediums, notably drypoint and monoprint.

Her work has been bought by several private individuals. Recently she exhibited several pieces at Holnicote House on Exmoor, who went on to buy three of them. She regularly enters open calls, and has been accepted into both local venues, such as Albatross Art Studio in Watchet, and national ones, such as Highgate Contemporary and Southbank Printmakers Gallery in London. Currently she has one of her prints in the Inspired by Standen Exhibition at Standen House in Sussex.

One of her monoprints, Washing day, won the Cranfield colour prize in last year's Print Day in May.

She has taken part in a group exhibition at her local arts centre, The Princess in Burnham on Sea. Some of her work has featured in small arts magazines, her linoprint ‘Into The Woods - Trallwm’ was the cover art for the first edition of Chill Mag.
