I graduated with a Fine Art degree at Wimbledon College of Art in 2014. I work mainly with acrylic and oil on canvas. I paint from memory those feelings and emotions that have evolved from personal experience. My work documents the silence and isolation I have felt in observation when no words seem appropriate.
My work consists of mixing memory feeling and emotions from happy childhood memories to traumatic events.
The glazing over of incidents and constant reappraisal interest me and how those same momentous happenings visit us in dream- time. I paint those feelings into something more palpable, a stain hiding what is not said, an under current of truth often lies within.
