I graduated in Fine Art in 1998. After decades away from the brush, I now paint in oils to capture extraordinary light. I express my connection to nature and landscape, finding moments when light turns the ordinary extraordinary and inviting you to pause and notice the wow in the everyday.

I work in oils, painting the landscapes, woods, paths and coastline I know and visit.

Two things recur in the work I make: paths that lead the viewer into the painting, and extraordinary light. I'm drawn to the moment the sun breaks through a summer canopy or cloud, catches bare winter branches, or sits low over a harbour at dusk. I paint the feeling of being in a place when the light does something you want to hold onto.

My work includes original oil paintings on canvas board and stretched canvas, ranging from intimate studies to larger statement pieces, and limited edition giclée prints of selected works, mounted and ready to frame. All prints are signed and numbered.
