Living in North East England, I have been painting and printmaking for over 60 years. My main focus in recent years is landscape painting in oils, where I am interested in atmosphere. Sometimes painting en plein air, plants and gardens are another source of inspiration.

These days I usually paint in oils, finding inspiration in my environment, especially landscapes and gardens. My main interest is in atmosphere, and recreating the mood of a place, with varying degrees of abstraction in my work. My studio is at home, where most of my work is created.

I enjoy mark-making, so I use a range of tools to create my work. My earlier explorations in print- making processes helped to develop this interest.

I’ve participated in group exhibitions, held solo exhibitions and sell my work online. My works are in private collection internationally, and have also been purchased by interior designers for luxury houses in UK.
