Shay Parsons United Kingdom
Shay is a fine art photographer specialising in abstract and impressionist works. She uses camera movement, multiple exposure and layering techniques to produce images which are often mistaken for paintings.
Shay uses details in the landscape to produce painterly and evocative images. She has held two exhibitions in 2023, one a solo show at Burdalls Yard in Bath, and one as featured artist at F4 Photography Gallery in Bristol. Her work has also been selected by Ace Arts in Somerton (2023) and the Glasgow Gallery of Photography (2024) for inclusion in open exhibitions.
She is a regular at the Bath Contemporary Art Fair, held on the second Sunday of every month between April and December in Green Park Station, Bath. She also takes part in Bear Flat Artists open studios each May.
