I am a multidisciplinary artist creating work in response to contemporary issues and the enviornment.

My art is usually made as a response to an object, idea or news story that has inspired me.

I work in a variety of media with the medium chosen because it showcases the idea to best effect whether that is due to the image, texture or colour.

Through my work I aim to encourage people to see the world in a different way and to provoke thought and response, engaging them in contemplation of ideas.

I explore modern life and how it has developed from things that have gone before, challenging ideas and expectations regarding culture, work, the environment, social and economic issues and gender expectations.

Investigating and experimenting on one work often leads to curiosity about something else and the development of another piece.
