Susan is an intuitive artist inspired by a love of Aboriginal and Global Indigenous Art.

Susan's recent 2025/26 work includes several distinct series including:- ▪️The Nomads Series which features pieces such as 'Five Sisters Walking' and 'Orca's Journey's. This collection encompasses themes such as travel, healing and global connection. ▪️The Maleny Botanical Series includes mixed media works inspired by the flora of the Queensland Hinterland and the Waikato Region of New Zealand. ▪️The Maleny Series of Artworks features pieces such as 'The Twelfth House', 'The Gathering' and 'Mother of all Numbers'. This collection is deeply inspired by Aboriginal art with themes that explore our connection with the land, connection with those who walked the Earth leaving their footprints and wisdom in the land, life journeys and family.

Susan's work typically features multiple layers of vibrant colour applied by hand, brush and palette knife. Watercolour is her favoured medium but oil pastels, charcoal, pigment inks and gold leaf are also frequently used.

Susan lives near Skipton, North Yorkshire and travels to Queensland, Australia a lot.
