ThAbluecat
I am Tha Blue Cat, an autistic artist. I paint and sculpt the Blue Cat as a symbol of perception and otherness. My work explores neurodivergent identity, isolation, and the fracture of communication, using layered signs, broken words, and backlit materials. I create pictorial and sculptural installations where inner light speaks to external chaos.
My practice explores perception, identity, and neurodivergence through the recurring figure of the Blue Cat. I work across painting, sculpture, and installation, using layered signs, fragmented language, and translucent or illuminated materials. Each piece reflects the experience of autistic perception—hypersensitive, chaotic, yet deeply structured. My sculptures combine fragility and light, while my paintings blur the line between image and thought. The Blue Cat is not a pet: it’s a threshold. A question. A presence that doesn’t adapt—it vibrates.
