The Print Lass West Yorkshire, United Kingdom
  Back to profiles

The Print Lass is the creation of Nikki Williams working from a basement studio in her West Yorkshire home. A colour lover with a passion for pattern and print. Her prints focus on texture and colour in both digital and screen printed formats. Her most recent addition is a series of folded and cut screen printed houses, with plans to develop the print and cut range.

I returned to screen printing 2 to 3 years ago and have relished the time I've spent getting inky again. I have developed quite a graphic style, which uses textural pattern to add layers of interest to my work. Bright bold primary and neon inks feature heavily and a playful exploration of layered colour. The last 12 - 18 months have seen me printing onto a variety of materials including wood and folded paper, making my work more three dimensional and creating opportunities to display it in different ways. I am currently designing a new collection of screen printed wooden pieces after the success of my wooden Christmas collection.
