Hi My name is Tony Cooney i’m based in Stockton on Tees. I’m a self taught artist and work predominantly in Oul Pastels on paper. I also like to use recycled cardboard such as old Amazon envelopes and the outer hardbacks of artist pads. I also work in charcoal and oil/acrylics.
I have previously been selected as a wild card on Landscape Artist of the year at Derwent Water and have had my paintings displayed at Redcar Contemporary Gallery. The Middlesbrough Fringe. Hartlepool Art Gallery and Redcar Palace. I have also had a painting selected for Preston Parks 200 years of Railway in their permanent exhibition.
