I am a sound artist, interested in the emotional, subjective and cultural aspects of sound and art. Investigating sound as both an inner and outer experience, she explores how we think about, remember, dream about sounds, and how this influences our experiences of sounds in our everyday life.

I explore ideas and experiences of sound and listening across a range of practices, including performance, composition, text scores and installations. I have recently completed a PhD Research Degree at University of the Arts, London, investigating sounds in thoughts, asking if we hear sounds in our minds, what they mean to us and where they come from. I am particularly interested in cultural aspects of sound and listening, and am currently exploring overlaps of sound and listening with affect and queer theory.

Aural Conjuring , Performance/video 'Aural Conjuring' was created in response to the COVID-19 lockdown of London in April 2020. The work is a listening ritual, an attempt to listen towards what I am missing, what I fear, what I hope for. The performance approaches listening as an act of reaching outside of yourself, connecting, longing and remaining open in a time of isolation. , 2020
