    I am a multimedia 3D artist, specialising in ceramics. My work is responsive – responding to ideas, events or collections of objects.     I work with dried flora (flowers, grasses, leaves, twigs, berries and more) weaving, stitching and sticking on tulle fabric within wooden frames to create three-dimensional pieces. I take my inspiration (and my materials) from the natural world around me - what I see from my window, in my garden, on dog walks and beyond.     My work is an emotional response to the coastal landscape and not a literal interpretation of what I see. The compositions that I develop are not particularly concerned with the specifics of place, but more the elemental relationship between land, sky and sea. The freedom and spontaneity of mark making and gestural paint application allow me to express a more personal image of the environment.
