    Living in North East England, I have been painting and printmaking for over 60 years. My main focus in recent years is landscape painting in oils, where I am interested in atmosphere. Sometimes painting en plein air, plants and gardens are another source of inspiration.

    I'm a commissioning artist taking part in events and exhibitions. As well as cards and prints, I paint larger pieces, I explore the relationship between still life and landscape by exploring the use of line within my work as if a continuous conversation weaving through my art.

    I work with dried flora (flowers, grasses, leaves, twigs, berries and more) weaving, stitching and sticking on tulle fabric within wooden frames to create three-dimensional pieces. I take my inspiration (and my materials) from the natural world around me - what I see from my window, in my garden, on dog walks and beyond.     Anna Air is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across photography and abstract painting. Her work explores femininity, identity, and artificial beauty through cinematic, emotionally charged imagery.     Carolyn Lefley is a photographer, artist and educator. Her work uses photography and moving image to explore belonging, folklore, deep time and the natural world. She makes work in the rural landscape and in the studio using playful dioramas.
