I’m a British artist working across mixed media—acrylic, ink, print, stitch, and scraps—drawn to the messy, intuitive business of making. My work lives at the intersection of wildness and control, personal story and public space, nature and notebook. It’s rooted in sketchbooks, foraging walks, and annotated thought—where ideas are allowed to spill, split, and grow teeth.

I studied Applied Art at degree level, after earning a Distinction in my HND in Design and Creative Arts. Since then, I’ve built a multi-layered creative practice that includes teaching, curation, community organising, and continual exploration. I’m a Fellow at Digswell Arts, Artist in Residence at the Letchworth Settlement, Chair of the Wynd Gallery, and lead organiser of Art on Broadway - I also created the Wynd Artist of the Year competition, which I won in 2024.

My practice is research-driven and emotionally honest. In 2025, I completed a 100 Day Project focused on the regenerative wildness of flowers—especially the dandelion—and how they mirror the creative process: stubborn, scrappy, beautiful in their disobedience. That work became The Petal Epidemic, an exhibition of original pieces on canvas, paper, and fabric, shown at the Wynd Gallery in May 2025. A full solo exhibition expanding this body of work is scheduled for summer.

I also teach mixed media and abstract textile workshops, encouraging experimentation over perfection, and I believe deeply in creativity as a form of resilience. I favour found tools over expensive ones, annotate messily, and see critique as a way of listening more closely. My art is about noticing: what’s underneath, what’s been discarded, what’s trying to bloom.

I make work that grows out of lived experience and curiosity—and I’m interested in anything with roots, real or metaphorical.

The Petal Epidemic

You’ll see large-scale pieces on canvas that bring these petals to life in a bold way, showing both their fragility and strength. I’ll also be showing a range of original works on paper, which are more...
