A relative newcomer to the world of art. Winner of the King Lear Prize for Art (Beginners) 2023. Working mostly in acrylics but also in pencil. I have an eclectic range of artwork from pop art to seascapes, cloud studies and flowers to pencil drawings. Currently I am experimenting with pallet knife painting and achieving some interesting results.

Painting and drawing mostly for fun, though my greetings cards have been found onsale at three local retail outlets in York. In addition I have taken part in several art fairs and exhibitions. These have included the York River Art Market, the Haxby & Wigginton Art Group annual exhibition and the Flat Art Society exhibitions. At various times over the last four years I have had artwork accepted for exhibitions at the York Library, the Badger in the Wall Gallery in Clapham, the Open Gallery Halifax, The Yorkie Cow Ilkely and the Scarborough Museum Gallery.
