A relative newcomer to the world of art. Winner of the King Lear Prize for Art (Beginners) 2023. Working mostly in acrylics and also pet pencil drawings. I have an eclectic range of paintings from pop art to seascapes, landscapes, cloud studies to flowers. Currently experimenting with pallet knife painting and achieving some interesting results.
Painting and drawing mostly for fun, but I have taken part in several art fairs and undertaken a number of commissions. My greetings cards can be found onsale at two local retail outlets in York and I have just had one piece of art accepted for an exhibition at the Badger in the Wall Gallery in Clapham, North Yorkshire. My next participation in a local art exhibition along with 7 other local artists is on the 11th May at Huntington Community Centre, York.
