I am a multidisciplinary environmental artist Based at Rogue Artists Studio Manchester and an Ebor Studio Rochdale associate member. I explore nature’s elements in the landscape of the Anthropocene. I seek to raise awareness of the impact of human actions on the environment and inspire positive change. My inspiration comes from the disconnectedness we experience in society an eco-anxiety that renders us powerless in the face of catastrophe. Cross-disciplinary collaboration is at the heart of my practice, working with musicians, researchers, and scientists. I am a member of para-lab Manchester an independent organisation that facilitates collaborations between artists and scientists. I work with traditional materials and New Technologies fusing the two in an online-offline process resulting in abstract forms both virtually and in sculpture and print. Presenting my work to the viewer through a portal of Augmented Reality explores and exposes the relationship between artist and viewer on their phone, drawing them into a dialogue of our relationship with the environment. The artist also becomes the viewer acquiring multiple perspectives. I have undertaken several public commissions, my work is housed at: The National Outdoor Centre, The Autism and Criminal Justice System, Salford Museum & Art Gallery and DCC Manchester. Immersive Watergrove, an interactive AR installation around the Reservoir 2023 was the first in the Immersive Reservoir series exploring the ecosystem of water and our relationship to it with Musician and Sound Artist Sophie Cooper. I have exhibited with SHIM in Berlin & Bridgport USA and my work CRITICAL THRESHOLD was recently published in Social Justice Art of the Twenties Vol1.
