Cibo United Kingdom
CiBo is a UK-based multidisciplinary artist working primarily with digital media, virtual reality, and immersive technologies. With a background in Fashion Design and Fine Art, his practice explores the intersection of physical and digital realities, creating experiential works that investigate perception, memory, identity, and the impact of emerging technologies on contemporary life.
My practice explores the convergence of physical and digital worlds through immersive visual, spatial, and interactive experiences. Working across virtual reality, 3D environments, photogrammetry, moving image, sound, and installation, I construct spaces that blur the boundaries between material and virtual experience.
I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies influence perception, memory, identity, and our relationship with the environments we inhabit. By combining digitally captured and generated elements, I create works that examine the psychological, social, and technological conditions of contemporary life.
My projects often draw on real-world locations, personal narratives, and speculative environments, transforming them into immersive experiences that invite exploration and reflection. Through this process, I seek to create meaningful encounters that encourage audiences to reconsider their understanding of space, presence, and human connection within an increasingly digital society.
