Depictions of nature are rarely mere representations of the external world. In my work, landscape serves as a kind of cartography - mapping not a geographic place, but a more nebulous terrain. I draw on traditions, both Eastern and Western, the resulting works are not records of place, but reflections on dream , reality and the other thing.
