Connection, alienation and separation are common threads throughout, themes that have run consistently through her 30 years as an artist. My approach is intuitive, experimental and without predetermined ideas. I allow spontaneous marks and textures to start the direction of the work, with tighter control and decision making coming into play as the piece develops. I live and work in Deal, Kent.

Drawn to Printmaking because of its versatility and often unexpected outcomes. Processes include Mono printing, Etching, Drypoint and Collagraph, which are combined together to render each individual print unique. Never one to create ‘pretty pictures’, I aim to portray feelings and sensations, borne out of experience. When I manage to achieve this, something beautiful seems to look back.
