As a visual artist and storyteller, I work across disciplines—incorporating found objects, both natural and manmade, to explore vulnerability and the impermanence of our interconnected world. I am drawn to stories embedded in materials and processes, and how they reflect and shape the natural environment. Collaborating with nature allows me to examine subtle social and cultural shifts.

When I think about my practice, I see physicality and impermanence as two equal entities—like the two sides of a coin. I reflect on the visible world and the invisible processes that drive these forces. Seasons embody growth and decay, while unseen roots carry the weight of rebirth. We often celebrate outcomes, yet the processes remain unnoticed. This fine balance between chaos and order has always fascinated me. I work primarily with found and recycled materials, yet metals have long intrigued me—the masculinity and labor embedded in their cultural memory. Gold, as an example, carries historical values, traditions, rituals, and identity. On the flip side, its reflective surface illuminates color, contributing to light and transience. Its aesthetic presence becomes fleeting. My practice explores these connections between past and present, building surfaces that speak to our current condition and, hopefully, leaving behind a mark—a story that matters.
