I am an artist, writer, researcher, and educator who works across expanded painting and language practices.

My current painting practice employs abstraction, decoration, and sustainable materials both as the pleasure of the painted surface and think through and with architectural spaces and experiences of disability. I use combinations of archival pigments and other 'precious' materials with found and discarded / overlooked materials such as online shopping packaging. I have paintings in public and private collections. My writing practice spans fiction, poetry, translation and academic writing. I was included in Best British Short Stories 2021 and have published widely elsewhere. I am a co-editor at intergraphia, a small press operating at the intersection of artist’s book, literatures, art writing, and archive. I am an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University the BA and MFA in Fine Art and a tutor for the Poetry School’s International Programme.
