Graduate from the Royal college of art. 7 years ago I moved from my birth place of south east London to East Sussex which has impacted my art considerably. Though from childhood I always felt happier in the countryside, I felt a juxtaposition between living in a city and infrequently visiting the countryside now I am here feeling more inspired by my surroundings.
I’m constantly inspired by my surroundings. Nature being my formative inspiration. The surroundings are in a state of flux which I use to create an atmosphere, whether it be the brightness of an early morning Spring day to the darkness of a cold winter night. I’m searching, like a magpie for the glimmers and shimmers nature provides.
