Rhiannon Kendall North Yorkshire, United Kingdom
  Back to profiles

Artist with a contemporary drawing, poetry and performance based practice residing at the Waterhouse, York UK.

Rhiannon is a recent Fine Art Graduate with a first class BA honours degree from York St John University, where she now studies an MA in Fine Art. The artist's interdisciplinary practice is based at the Waterhouse as part of a collective, where contemporary drawing, performance and poetry are used to explore themes surrounding presence, memory, childhood, motherhood and being LGBTQI+. Drawing remains a conflicted medium in Rhiannon's practice as it not only explores a complex range of themes but represents of a time of innocence; as the artist became obsessive over drawing during childhood and to this day it remains a way of exploring, narrating and navigating the complexities of life.
