Diana Terry Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
Recently been able to work full time as an artist after a life combining other roles in the Arts and Heritage sectors. Trained originally as a potter and now still obsessed with materials and textures. Nature both internal and external is my starting inspiration.
She has been able to concentrate on her fine art practice since moving into her studio in a Victorian cotton mill in the Pennines. After a lifetime of working in the Arts it is with enormous joy that she has pursued for five years painting and drawing full time. She had the opportunity to work in the Paper Gallery, Manchester where she studied Chinese landscape traditions and their contemporaries at the CFCCA and the University of Salford. Her work is in both private and public collections all over the UK , New Zealand and USA. She has exhibited in London at The Mall Galleries with the RSBA. Recently she has been exhibiting at the Saul Hay Gallery, Manchester and galleries in North Yorkshire,Scotland and Liverpool. She is also a member of the Wirral Society of Arts exhibiting with them regularly at The Williamson, Birkenhead and at The Atkinson, Southport.
