Franky Blues is a project born out of necessity to understand my inner self and to express emotions beyond what words can ever express. My work delves into the macabre and the sinister, juxtaposed against the beauty of nature. My practice illustrates and explores sociopolitical issues and the innermost self. It explores philosophical, psychological and ethical questions from a modern perspective and delves into themes of queerness, identity and culture. I explore the subconscious by painting absurd and surrealist scenarios. I work with texture and movement. colours and interesting shapes. A lot of inspiration is born in nature and biological life.
