Video and installation artist.

I am a visual artist working in video and installation. I use my practice to explore everyday life and how this can be impacted by mental health and social class. My work fuses the surreal experience of severe mental illness with the mundane experience of our daily lives.

I usually begin my work by creating a seed of an idea on my own then once developed, I’ll work collaboratively as the lead artist of a creative team. For my current project ‘Mirrored to the core’ I am collaborating with an Opera Director, a Musical Director and Composer to produce a video artwork with an operatic twist.

My work has been exhibited in both group and solo shows in the UK and internationally. I have also taken on roles as a facilitator, have given talks and co-developed courses on mental health and the arts.
