Leeds-based Artist, originally from Blackpool. New Media, Sculpture and Collage.
For some years I have worked across collage and sculpture, linking the two mediums together through collecting, archiving, arranging and obsession. I've recently been drawn towards incorporating technology and electronics; and so expanded my practice into these sort of hybrid sculptural-collage-tech new artworks that integrate electrical components, microcontrollers, coding and a much more deliberate use of materials overall. The resulting hybrid works are stacked materials which have been glommed together into compositions that are actively obscuring memory and future; fragments of data flickering on a layered screen - a message filtered through the noise.
