    I have been a painter for over 30 years. My work has evolved over time. My artwork can be seen as the chronology of my life. Art has been a creative space where I can let go of emotions buried deep inside that words alone can't express. I am never conscious of what will come onto the canvas; I experience life through this lens. I am fascinated with this hidden world I carry.

    I am a woodcarver, artificer and artisan pictorial sign maker. My sculpture is often for memorials, both for highly personal private remembrance and for Public Spaces. All my work is concerned with sustainability, climate change and environmental responsibility. My work has been exhibited widely in the UK and online. I sculpture in the Public Collection and on permanent display.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience.     I’m interested in the subtle communication of the environmental impact that humans have on our planet especially animals and water. Eg. Octopus Using everyday materials ‘found objects’ mixing them with other materials I plan to sculpt ‘The energetic quality of Water’ I trust that if my attention is on a ‘matter ‘the matter energetically changes.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.
