    I am an artist and designer living and working in York, UK. I grew up on the edge of Dartmoor and studied fine art, illustration and graphic design in Exeter and York. My paintings and drawings explore wild natural landscapes through instinctive and expressive mark-making and enquiry into colour, and have been exhibited in England and Wales.

    During total isolation, in lockdown, I painted over a 164 artworks up to date. I also took up meditation which allowed my imagination to flow again. It was cathartic and eased the trauma from what was happening in the outside world. Life is returning back to what was before, but with a greater sense of appreciating family and friends, united.

    I am a Scottish photographer, filmmaker, artist and educator who lives in Lewes, East Sussex. Being brought up on a farm has contributed heavily towards my practice. I enjoyed a lot of freedom, but my existence was quite isolated which, in hindsight, instilled an ability to work alone and an urge for self-expression.

    I am an author I studied for an MA in art and a BA graduated in both, and then went on to study psychology. I have done various psychotherapy courses and classes. I am now more into doing the thing I love most painting. I am from Cyprus my family were refugees in Cyprus. I have lived in England for over sixty years. I did a lot of work in catering.

    I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     I am a neurobiologist by day and artist by night. I explore various topics directly impacting me like the emotional impact of chronic pain, the nature, and the science around me.
