    I am a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests, so I don't specialise in any particular genre.     I make artists' books. My work is narrative based: I am inspired by stories, thoughts and ideas that I like to interpret in book form so that the structure and content of the book are symbiotic. Sometimes I also create textile pieces incorporating mixed media and embroidery.

    As a studio-based painter I rely on photographic images. These are often those found on social media or then internet. As a gay man I am also interested in exploring the multiplicity of images and ideals we are presented with and redefining the idea of masculinity. My work explores narrative, colour, line, composition, and mark-making to evoke an emotion or develop the narrative within an image.
