    I work from Yorkshire Artspace, Sheffield. My sculpture & installation practice uses steel wire, salvaged materials & writing to explore invisibility, voicelessness & the politics of periphery. By refusing tidy coherence, my work becomes embodied communication supporting marginalised narratives, tracing links between historical & contemporary silencing, & challenging expectations of expression.

    I have a BA (HONS) in Applied Arts and have run my creative business Rustydusty since 2008. I am predominately a textiler and work in various textile disciplines. I have come back to my line and watercolour art after recently being accepted in the Lanzarote Art Festival. The experience of going over to Lanzarote to deliver workshops inspired me to use colour and develop my line work.

    Michel Ducos is a potter, sculptor and Art facilitator based in Alford, Lincolnshire. Having been a professional potter with his wife, Heather, since 1972 as Alford Pottery, for the last 20 years or so, ceramic sculpture has become an all engrossing activity which sits comfortably alongside the daily pottery work.     My paintings explore architectural spaces and structures shaped by memory, displacement, invention and perception. Working in layered oil paint, I build and erode surfaces, balancing structure with chance and material behaviour. I hold an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and have exhibited widely, including a recent museum solo exhibition at Lakeside Arts, Nottingham.

    I am an artist painting on glass and paper to create 2d and 3d works. My work is strongly narrative and explores the interaction of people and landscape aided by birds. My starting point was as a painter using watercolours and mixed media, around 2000 I began to study stained glass and I have continued to develop approaches to painting and sculpting with stained glass and paper.

    Jelena Havelka is an abstract painter and printmaker based in Leeds. She holds a PhD in Psychology, and her art education comes from residencies and workshops with artists and printmakers in Yorkshire. Her work is grounded in a concept of embodiment, translating felt experiences into textured surfaces that echo the physicality of emotion.
