    I am currently producing work that is a a combination of paintings and mixed media relief pieces that combine embroidery, paper clay, precious metal clay, paper, watercolour, ink and found objects. Each piece is accompanied with a poem about and as a response to the physical work. I also work as a development librarian.

    I facilitate fungi talks, Art & Craft Workshops to explain the magic, ecology, and importance of the fungi kingdom, promoting well-being and nature connection. I create art using gel plate printing, monoprints, usually featuring organic and abstract elements. I also work with papier-mâché. I also make mushroom mushroom earrings, homeware, such as domes, terrariums, USB lights, and so on.

    Working with salvaged ecclesiastical glass, I use historical fragments to construct new paradigms of image‑making. Informed by early Renaissance craft, my practice reconfigures light, fracture and inherited forms for contemporary meaning.

    Claire Troughton's Jewellery is inspired by the fragility of nature, the romanticism of the sea and the mythical stories she heard in childhood. She creates tiny treasures focusing on the little details and patterns of natural forms she notices while walking her beloved dog.     I am a graduate professional artist with BA Fine Art First Class Honours 2006. I'm inspired by the landscape and create work that abstracts what I see and experience. Often working en plein air I create dynamic & colourful compositions. I'm inspired by abstract expressionism with rapid expressive mark making & striking colours of Fauvism.     I was born in London. I work from my studio in S-W Scotland to produce mostly Modern Mosaic and Mixed media pieces. I have a background in Painting and Sculpture, holding a First Class Honours Dip. A. D. and Post-Graduate Commonwealth Award for Sculpture to India. I formed Kate Anderson Mosaics in 2002, and am a professional member of the British Association for Modern Mosaic.
