Kate is a London based artist specialising in large scale sculpture and installation. Her monumental sculptures and vulnerable performances are simultaneously bold, theatrical and sensitive.

I see my practice as primarily a form of healing. As an artist experiencing access needs I take longer to digest what I am experiencing. My practice allows me to process the present and anticipate the future, and organically flows into and out of the whole of my life.

In making sculpture over longer periods of time I realise how the work relates to my past, present and future. My work is multi-sensory so that anyone can experience it. I attempt to bring internal feelings to the forefront, and transform them into something theatrical, child-like and visceral, which can be sensed and touched with the whole body. In making my work I long for people to resonate with it and to feel a deep sense of acceptance, and connection.
