  Back to profiles

Kirti Virmani is an Indian born visual artist with a practice spanning over photography, printmaking, sculptural forms and creative direction. She is a recent graduate from the Royal College of Art, London with a masters in Print.

My work delves into the poetics and politics of gender, nature, and identity. Through meditative visuals, I invite viewers to contemplate the art of gracefully floating within life’s ebb and flow. With a background in photography, I am currently expanding my practice into works on paper and sculptural forms, while also researching personal journal archives and inheritances. My current work is driven by a fascination with iconography and spirituality, focusing on reinterpreting symbols, practices, and beliefs through contemporary art.
