    Kate Trafeli is an American-British abstract expressionist painter currently based in London, her studio is in North London with ArtSpace5. Kate works primarily with acrylic paints, oil pastels and crayon, on both canvas and wood. Kate is represented in the UK by AfterNyne Contemporary; she shows her work there and at selected curated exhibitions, such as The London Art Fair and TOAF London/NY/LA.

    I'm an artist, educator and curator. I create sculptural installations, using recycled and found materials.     I've been on a creative journey for over 20 years, earning a Bachelor's and Master's in Fine Art. My work featured in exhibitions like "Come As You Art" and "Mirror Mirror on the Wall" in 2021, even amidst COVID-19 challenges. I also designed a poster for "The Shadow Pandemic" in Brighton, raising awareness about domestic abuse during the pandemic.

    Yuliya Surnina, is a Designer/Maker born in Kazakhstan during the zenith of Soviet Union. She primarily explores three main themes in her work: object transformation, perceptions of and expectations from female bodies, and the experience of straddling two cultures. Trained as a City and Guilds Traditional Upholsterer with a MSc in Social Psychology, Julia lives in wild Dorset.

    I have painted since I was ten years old, throughout my career in fashion design and later interior design. I use everyday scenes as well as those from travelling, and am inspired by nature and the seasons, with the variation in moods and colours they bring. I started painting in oils and in the last few years have developed a passion for soft pastels.
