    I am a 68 year old photographer currently enjoying a career re-birth after a number of years working in various roles around the World. To help redevelop my old skills I have enrolled upon an Art and Design degree course of which I am now approaching ghecend of my third and final year.

    My 2D work describes concepts using narratives, symbols and visual rhythms. I have curated 37+exhibitions for a gallery founded in a social inclusion project in S. London. I have designed and run events, workshops and participatory installations exploring community, people's relationship to each other and encouraging creativity and self exploration.

    My felt 'paintings' are intricate, dynamic works created from layers of fibres, threads, and fabrics. Drawing inspiration from human presence in the landscape, my art also reflects a deep fascination with the tactile richness of my materials. My landscapes explore striking contrasts, weaving vivid bursts of colour and form with subtle, earthy tones and delicate details.

    Born in Lancashire, painting and drawing since a young child, I gained a degree in graphic design and pursued a career in design for over 25 years, whilst continuing to paint. Painting is my passion and my purpose. Now concentrating fully on painting professionally.     I am a printmaker and artist living in Otley, West Yorkshire. I have made art all my life, but printmaking has driven me to take art-making more seriously. I love to draw, and this has helped me lean into and enjoy the process and technique of print making. I mainly work with Japanese Vinyl, traditional Lino and Drypoint.     My creative practice is as a textile artist, teacher and writer.     My ceramic practice explores the poetics of stillness at the threshold between vessel and sculpture. I use local stoneware, contrasting structural precision with unique matte glazes that highlight the clay's raw character. My work emphasizes the physical history of its creation. Stocked at Kettle's Yard museum shop and other galleries, I have also held a solo exhibition at Churchill College.
