At my studio pottery on the Yorkshire coast I produce a combination of thrown and handbuilt ceramics, using mostly Stoneware clays, coloured slips and glazes.

Kathleen's artistry is ever-evolving, with the only constant being her quest to explore fresh concepts. Each pot she creates possesses its own distinct character, adorned with a painted surface decoration that is completely unique.

Kathleen's lifelong passion for plants and flowers, paired with her previous experience in Design—where she honed her skills in form, pattern, and colour—often finds expression in her work, which frequently transcends into the realm of the imagination.

“My work constantly changes and develops, which I hope gives each piece – whether functional or purely decorative – a personality and integrity of its own.”
