I am a Cuban artist based in York, United Kingdom. My studio practice uses painting as a means towards exploring Cuban identity, using the human figure and the way it interacts with other individuals as a vehicle to connect the public with my culture and heritage.
My artwork is atmospheric, vibrant and colourful as a result of my Hispanic-Caribbean background. The scenes that I paint show the ordinary people in their daily life, emphasizing elements such as body language, facial expression and a vast skin colour diversity.
