I am a mixed media collage artist based in the West Midlands. Making collage and assemblage pieces have been, without exaggeration, life changing in terms of the freedom to express myself.

Each of my artworks tell a story; I use a variety of materials, in particular vintage & antiquarian ephemera, to create rich and intricate pieces. I am inspired by poetry, prose, conversations overheard and personal histories. Much of the work I create is influenced by my love of medieval, Renaissance & Indian art. The use of symbolism hidden within layers of imagery is an important element of each of the collages I make and I love to hear how different viewers respond with their own meaning. Along with symbolism, the titles are intrinsic to each piece. The title is the begining of my process, once I am fixed on the title I source my materials, plan and create. This can take days, weeks or months and I often have a number of artworks at various stages of completion.
