    Nick Malone crosses art forms to create mystery through broken narratives in paintings, drawings and artist’s books. Initially a prizewinning writer, he abandoned his former life to become a full-time artist. His work has been exhibited across the world, from Tokyo to the United States, including at the Royal Academy, the Carrousel du Louvre and the RSA, and has won various national awards.

    An artist and psychologist, I explore the human experience from my academic activities. I illustrate psychological phenomena, theories and concept in light of the current social context and of our future. As a result, my visual language presents itself in iconic, timeless and geometric forms. Science and art converge into a visual artform of heightened aesthetic sense and vivid compositions.

    My practice is muti-disciplinary but a unifying starting point for most of my work is print or collage. I am an artist and educator interested in the social applications of art. Ritual, play, wonder, performance, perceptions of reality and imagined narratives are all important themes within my practice.

    Layla Jabbari is a Hull-based illustrator working in print and mixed media, including animation and sculpture. Layla's work was shortlisted for the Flourish Awards for excellence in Printmaking and selected for Ones to Watch, Yorkshire 2024.     I am an artist and designer living and working in York, UK. I grew up on the edge of Dartmoor and studied fine art, illustration and graphic design in Exeter and York. My paintings and drawings explore wild natural landscapes through instinctive and expressive mark-making and enquiry into colour, and have been exhibited in England and Wales.

    An experimental printmaker using etching and other print making techniques. The work is concerned with the temporal transformation of discarded and forgotten objects into new printed images which emulate the landscape, becoming imaginary map like places. A new 2 or 3 dimensional narrative emerges as they form their new printed landscape
