Michael Kelly is a retired civil servant with degrees in chemistry, psychology, business and art. He was employed as a psychologist for most of his international career. He has a keen interest in science, space travel, motorcycling and current affairs.
Michael Kelly MA, MBA, MA fine art, CPsyhcol Instagram: MKelly1one Michael Kelly is a retired scientific civil servant who as a mature student studied an MA in fine art at the University for the Creative Arts (Farnham). He works mainly in acrylics on canvas. His work revolves around the narrative producing a pictorial narrative in which he suggest a story or stories that allow the viewer to construct their own unique interpretation of the event depicted. The subject matter explores the boundaries of the near future and its technological possibilities and failures. He also occasionally produces local conventional landscapes. Exhibitions: He has exhibited in the UCA, the Harvey gallery, Surrey Heath Council gallery, Monkton gallery Ryde, Horton Gallery and the West end centre gallery and on line. During his UCA student days he exhibited at - Very Little UCA 2020, - Relative limits UCA 2020, and Beyond the Boundaries 2021.
